Answer:

1 - Joseph bought tables of cost =Rs.6,350

Joseph bought chairs of cost = Rs.3,800

so,

Rs 6,350- Rs, 3,800

= 2,500

the table cost was 2500 more than the chair cost

2 - No. of sweet lime trees in his orchard = 143

No. of chikoo trees in his orchard = 156

the total number of trees in his orchard = 299

3- seating capacity of a playground= 20,750

number of womens present for a function = 8,500

number of man's present for a function =11,200

the number of seats reserved = 11,200 + 8,500 = 19,700

so the total number of seats - the total number of seats reserved = 20750 - 19700 = 1050

so, the remaining seats were 1050
