Mitochondria

Pigments: Absent

Position: It is commonly present in both plant and animal cells.

Chamber: It is divided by complete chambers.

Function: It is the respiratory organ for cell.

Food reserve: It does not store any food.

Plastid

Pigments: It has different pigments

Position: It is only found in plant cell.

Inner membrane: Folds are not found in the inner membrane.

Chamber: Chambers are not found.

Function: It is mainly an organelle involved in manufacturing food for cell.
