(a)because it is obtained from dead animals and plants which is decomposed deep inside the earth many millions of years.

(b)CNG is Compressed Natural Gas which present just above the fossils.

It is used in transports as a fuel because it causes less pollution.

3.Coal, petroleum, and natural gas are considered nonrenewable because they can not be replenished in a short period of time. They take thousands of years to form.

4.CNG is produced by compressing natural gas to less than 1% of its volume at standard atmospheric pressure.

Uses:

  • in industry,
  • in the retail and service sectors, and in the non-commercial sector,
  • in households (i.e. for general use),for the generation of heat and power,
  • in cogeneration, and as a motor fuel in the transport sector

5. The three ways are:

  • Using room coolers, air conditioners, geysers, etc., only when needed.
  • Reducing the flame of the burners while cooking to save fuel.
  • Using CFLs and tube lights, which use less energy, instead of bulbs.
