Q.4 An object moves 8 kilometre from point A to point B and then from point B to point C.Find the distance covered by the object and displacement .Is distance is scalar or vector quantity.​

If the total move is 8 km and there is no turn or direction change then distance and displacement will be same which is 8 km and if the object further moves more 8 km from pt. B to C then answer will be 16 km...

Distance is a scalar quantity.
