Q.4 Let the two sets A and B contain
m" and "n" elements respectively
such that the total number of subsets
of A is 56 more than number of
subsets of set B then the value of m
and n are respectively

No. of subsets of A = 2^m

No. of subsets of B = 2^n

A/Q;

2^m-2^n = 56

or, 2^m-2^n = 64-8

or, 2^m-2^n = 2^6-2^3

On comparing;

m = 6 and n = 3
