▶ The personality which is in the attachment was well known as,' The Father Of India's Nuclear Programme.' His name is Homi Jehangir Bhabha, an Indian Nuclear Physicist.
▶ He was born in Paris family. His family was wealthy. His father's name was Jehangir Hormusji Bhabha and his mother's name was Meheren Bhabha. He was born on October 30, 1909.
▶ His parents were willing that he should study mechanical engineering so he joined university of Cambridge to study mechanical engineering. In 1930, he passed mechanical engineering with first class. In Cambridge he was greatly influenced by Paul Dirac, the Physicist. And get interested in theoretical physics.
▶ He worked with Niels Bohr at Cambridge in which he contributed by giving calculations of how to determine cross section of the electron position scattering.
In 1936, he published a paper with Niels Bohr named as, ' The passage of Fast Electron and The Theory of Cosmic Showers. ' And for his work he was awarded the senior studentship in 1937 and he continued his work at Cambridge.
▶ In 1944, He think that India needs some laboratories for researching on Nuclear science. In 1948, he played an important role in Formation of Atomic Energy Commission.
▶ In India he was honoured with,' Padma Bhushan .' in 1954 and ' Adams Prize ' in 1942 For his all contribution in field of nuclear science.
▶ He was died in the Air India Flight 101 due to plane crash on January 24, 1966 near Mont Blanc. He was the great son on India and the inspiration for all students.
