1. He saved money to buy a new car.

2. They did not support me.

3. Cricket is being played by Hari.

4. Unless he takes a taxi, he will miss the train.

5. They have won the match.

  • 1. An infinitive is the root form of the verb which is written using 'to' before it. In the sentence ' He saved money to buy a new car', to buy is the infinitive.
  • 2. A negative sentence is written using 'not'.
  • 3. To change the voice of the sentence, we will interchange the subject and the object, use past participle of the main verb and add an auxiliary verb according to the tense of the active voice sentence.
  • 4. We can rewrite the sentence using unless as : Unless he takes a taxi, he will miss the train.
  • 5. The words in the question statement do not make sense. The same words when arranged according to the correct sentence structure 'They have won the match' make complete sense.
