- R3 = 20 ohm
- R4 = 15 ohm
- R5 = 8 ohm
1). R2 & R4 are in series, So
R¹ = R2 + R4
= 15 + 15 = 30 ohm
Now this R¹ & R3 are in parallel
1/R² = 1/R¹ + 1/R3
= 1/30 + 1/20
= 5/60
R² = 60/5 = 12 ohm
Now this R², R1 &R5 are in series
Req = R² + R1 + R5
= 12 + 20 + 8
= 40 ohm
3). Total Current in Circuit
I = V / Req
= 12 / 40
= 0.3 A
