Answer:

1) 6.25 tables.

2) 8 cars and 3 tyres left.

3) 6.66 bed spreads

4) 7.42 boats thats not possible so 8 boats for all people

5) 3 pencils left with the teacher.

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Total number of people in the party=50.

No of tables required by 8 people = 1 table

No of tables required by 50 people = 1/8*50= 50/8 = 6.25tables.

2)Total number of tyres put on cars= 35

No of cars fitted by 4 tyres = 1 car

No of cars fitted by 35 tyres= 1/4*35 = 35/4 = 8.75 cars

It is not possible so 8 cars can be fitted and,

No of tyres that will not be used = 3 tyre

3) 3m of clothes make no of bed spread= 1

20m of clothes will make no of bed spread= 1/3*20= 20/3= 6.66bed spreads.

4) No of boats required by 7 people at a time= 1 boat

No of boats required for 52 people = 1/7*52 = 52/7=7.42boats

As none should be left so we should round it off to 8 boats.

5) No of pencils teacher have = 27

No of students to distribute pencil = 8

If each student get equal pencil then no of pencil with students= 27/8 = 3 each and 3 pencils left with the teacher.
