=36-26-5x+7

= -5x+17

then use remainder theorem-:

3x+2=0

3x= -2

x= -2/3

put value in f(x)

-5*-3/2 +17

= 15/2+17

=(15+34)/2

=49/2

=24.5

Ans=24.5
