Explanation:

Arteries

Arteries are thick blood vessels which are capable to carry oxygenated blood to all body parts.

=>In arteries blood pressure so much high that's why they are thick.

Veins

Veins are thin blood vessels which carries de-oxygenated blood and supply to the heart.

Major difference between artery and veins

Artery =>

  • They carries only oxygenated oxygen rich blood to the body parts.it is enrich with nutrients.
  • Generally red in colour because it is oxygen rich and haemoglobin.
  • It carries blood from heart to different body parts.
  • As blood comes from the heart so it have high pressure.
  • flow of movement of blood is downward.

Veins =>

  • They carries de-oxygenated carbon contains blood.
  • Generally greenish and bluish in colour due to impure blood particles.
  • It supplies deoxygenated blood from body to the heart.
  • it have low pressure than the arteries.
  • Flow is upward as it is goes to heart from all body parts.
