Arteries are thick blood vessels which are capable to carry oxygenated blood to all body parts.
=>In arteries blood pressure so much high that's why they are thick.
Veins
Veins are thin blood vessels which carries de-oxygenated blood and supply to the heart.
Major difference between artery and veins
Artery =>
- They carries only oxygenated oxygen rich blood to the body parts.it is enrich with nutrients.
- Generally red in colour because it is oxygen rich and haemoglobin.
- It carries blood from heart to different body parts.
- As blood comes from the heart so it have high pressure.
- flow of movement of blood is downward.
Veins =>
- They carries de-oxygenated carbon contains blood.
- Generally greenish and bluish in colour due to impure blood particles.
