Q.11.. Draw a 9cm line on a sheet with the help of scale.

2. Name the starting point as A and ending point as B.

3. Take the half of line segment AB = 9cm with compass

4. Draw 4.5cm(half of 9cm) from both points A and B with the help of compass on both upside and downside of line Ab=9cm

5. Name the upside intersection point C and downside intersection point D.

6. Join the line CD = 4.5 cm

" Hence CD is the perpendicular bisector of the line segment AB=9cm "

Q.2

1. Draw a line segment of at length, name both point A and B.

2. Take a compass on point A and make a semi circle or half circle touching one of its point on the drawn line segment and name it O and other point on the outside of the line segment.

3. Take a compass on the point O and cut it on the semi circle or half circle.

4. Join the line to point A where the point O cuts on semicircle

" Hence, an angle of 60° has been constructed."

Q.3

1. Take a line segment of 3cm with the help of compass.

2. Take any point on the sheet or paper and keep the compass sharp point on it and name it O.

3. Rotate compass without changing line segment. Complete it whole circle.

4. Draw a line from O and make it to touch the circle.

5. Write 3cm below the line drawn in point no 4.

" Hence circle of 3cm is drawn."
