Solution

Given

a+b+c= 123. Where a,b,c are 1st 2nd and 3rd number respectively.

a: b= 2:5. a:b= 6:15

===>.

b:c = 3:4. b:c= 15:20

=>>>>>. a:b:c= 6:15:20

=>> sum of ratio×X= a+b+c

=>. (6+15+20) X= 123

41X= 123

X= 3

Therefore difference between 2nd and 3rd number

(20-15) X= 5X= 5×3= 15

Therefore answer is option(c) 15

Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

a+b+c= 123. Where a,b,c are 1st 2nd and 3rd number respectively.

a: b= 2:5. a:b= 6:15

b:c = 3:4. b:c= 15:20

a:b:c= 6:15:20

sum of ratio×X= a+b+c

(6+15+20) X= 123

41X= 123

X= 3

Therefore difference between 2nd and 3rd number

(20-15) X= 5X= 5×3= 15
