Given:-

  • Mass of body = 2kg
  • Speed of body = 20m/s

Find:-

  • Kinetic Energy

Solution:-

we, know that

  \underline{\boxed{\sf Kinetic \: Energy =  \dfrac{1}{2} m {v}^{2} }}

where,

  • Mass, m = 2kg
  • Final Velocity, v = 20m/s

So,

\dashrightarrow\sf Kinetic \: Energy =  \dfrac{1}{2} m {v}^{2} \\  \\  \\

\dashrightarrow\sf Kinetic \: Energy =  \dfrac{1}{2} \times 2 \times  {(20)}^{2} \\  \\  \\

\dashrightarrow\sf Kinetic \: Energy =  \dfrac{1}{2} \times 2 \times 400 \\  \\  \\

\dashrightarrow\sf Kinetic \: Energy =  \dfrac{1}{2} \times 800 \\  \\  \\

\dashrightarrow\sf Kinetic \: Energy =  \dfrac{800}{2}  \\  \\  \\

\dashrightarrow\sf Kinetic \: Energy = 400 J \\  \\  \\

 \small{\therefore\sf Kinetic \: Energy = 400 J}

Thus, Kinetic Energy of the body is 400J
