Explanation:

pressure = force/area

calculate the area of each side and then find the force on each side after that add the pressure you will get pressure on a box

GIVEN :-

  • Force (F) = 100 N
  • Length of box (AB) = 50 cm
  • Breadth of box (BC) = 30 cm

TO FIND :-

  • The pressure = ?

SOLUTION :-

▪︎ As we know that,

 \implies \huge \bf pressure  \: (P) \:  =  \frac{thrust}{area}

▪︎Area of box = length × breadth

= 0.3 m × 0.5 m

= 0.15 m²

▪︎pressure = Thrust/Area

= 100 N/0.15m²

= 666.67 N/m²

= 666.67 Pascal

Hence the pressure is 666.67 Pascal.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :-

\boxed{ \begin{minipage}{4cm}  \\ \large{ \tt \bf{P $ \propto F$}} \\  \\  \large{ \bf{P $ \propto \dfrac{1}{A} $  }} \\  \\  \large{ \bf{pressure =$ \dfrac{F}{A} $ }} \end{minipage}}
