Step-by-step explanation:

b) is correct answer

250 m is correct answer

Given : A girl walks 200m towards east and then 150m towards north.

Find starting point

Suppose

A girl Forming A triangle in which <B= 90°

By Phythogorus theroem we have

AC^2=AB^2+BC^2

AC^2=200^2+150^2

AC^2= 40000+22500

AC^2= 62500

AC= 250 m

Given that:- A girl walks 200 metre east and then 150 metre north.

As we have to find that the distance from the starting point,

For that, we have to use the Pythagoras theorem

The required distance

=\sqrt{(200)m^2+(150)m^2}

=\sqrt{40000+22500}

=\sqrt{62500}

=250m

Hence, the required distance from the starting point is 250m.
