6th January, Mumbai: Our school celebrated annual day on 23rd October, 20xx in Talkatora auditorium. It was a very grand celebration of annual day. All the parents, teachers, staff and well wishers were invited.
The chief guest of this celebration was the famous writer Amitava Ghosh. The programme started on the arrival of our chief guest at around 5 p.m. The celebration started with welcome speech by Principal.
A number of dance, music, songs and cultural performance were presented very beautifully. The play 'A merchant of Venice' was also beautifully presented by the students. Parents and our respected chief guest were very happy watching it.
After that, the chief guest delivered a very inspiring speech which motivated us a lot. The programme then ended at around 8.30 p.m.
