Psychology, asked by sukhdeepkhera0127, 3 months ago

Q : Do you think you will express/present yourself as yourself or what others want or how you want people to see you? And 'Being yourself' means being real, not hiding stuff(your class etc.) about yourself(except for things you shouldn't say on the internet). Do you think that hiding some facts about yourself is because you don't want people to see your reality? We wear masks, all of us do, what do you think?
Being real vs being mysterious(hiding things?)?
(Don't say that 'being real' = 'mysterious' for you. According to what I studied in psychology, it is simply called hiding. Maybe- For example-If people think of you in a certain good way, you won't change it. Isn't?

Q: How do you spend your day(maybe give details of your time table)? How much time do you spend on your phone(which apps etc.) and your physical life? How do you balance all the things? (I don't get enough time to study... how do you guys spend your whole day on brainly or something else)

Q: In what language do you speak with your family and your real life friends? How is it different from the language you use in your social media accounts? Do you think it's okay to forget your language, or at least let's say it's more comfortable to speak another language? (And you know that kpop is a living example which teaches us IT. And don't blame the circumstances or content availability.)

I just wanted your thoughts as your answers are soo good. Pls don't take it as criticism.

Answer:

Those are some good questions that I'll be honoured to answer! I don't know who you wanted to answer though^^" Hope that person would answer you soon!!And hoping you don't mind if I answer~You're questions are just too good!

1.I would probably do both in some circumstances, but no matter how much I hide, my real personality peeks through,The thing is I can't and won't be able to 'fake' myself no matter how much I try and that's something I would want to be able to do, acting is not a bad thing. I can't seem to mask my emotions well and if could, things would've been veryyy different. Yes of course,"being real" has different meanings and for me,"hiding stuff" shouldn't affect that. Why would someone want to know things about me? If it's to judge,I would say no to that. People are discriminated no matter how hard you try to deny that.Sometimes people of the same age feel comfortable with each other and not with other age groups, I want to break that barrier, I want to show that age, after all can just be a number. Not knowing my class or age shouldn't affect my friendships if it's "real". And it hasn't,I act younger or older as applicable for the situation and I don't mind being called younger by someone younger than me or being called older by someone older than me. Being " mysterious" is a concept or a theme I follow and I find it fun and amazing at the fact, how open-minded people can still be friends with me even without knowing me properly. That just shows how amazing Humans can be and that not all humans are born to be considered as bad. Yes, we do wear masks, all of us, but some people don't and I love them for that! Masking your feelings can be for good and bad and we all judge from different points. I do not judge people, I do not want to, I consider everyone to be good that is unless they prove me otherwise.

2. I don't spend my whole day on brainly oh not that! I have different people handling my account and I'm thankful for that. I do balance out both, because you live both online and offline doesn't mean you should pursue just one life.Yeah I do,have classes, exams, work, friends and family and I make sure to give my time and attention to all of them,no matter how hard it may be.

3.English.But natively I've been trying to pick up other languages as well and have done about 3-4 languages! I'm after Hindi next as in this server Hindi seems to be the most prominent one!I've been taking classes and I think I'm getting better? I doubt that.Of course! it's okay, as it is not your fault and let me tell you, you'll never forget a language,I guarantee, at least some remains will be left with you, so don't worry about that! If people around you use that language more, then of course, you have to adapt! And being afraid to explore new things is no excuse for that!!

I hope I answered your questions! I wish I could write more but,the time and word limit do not agree with me!

T-T

Anyways Have a Lovely day ahead! (≧∇≦)/

I Purple You! \huge\bold\purple{♡}

Keep Being YOU! ~ :D

Edit: Being real Vs Being mysterious?

Well being mysterious doesn't mean real nor does it mean hiding, the meaning of the word? Well I'll be the judge of that. Being real,of course I'll choose that. If I was not being real, then I would've not answered this and just continued to "hide" my thoughts, wouldn't I?

Adiós!

Hmm. Being urself. Be u!

xD.

Anyways, i think being urself is a very hard thing.

At times, not being urself is good as well.

Let me give u an example.

i hope u know who Louis XIV of France was. He was the “iron” man of France. He was a control freak and used to exercise control over everything.

Anyways, so this guy, Louis XIV had a minister in his court, i cant recall his name, but, he actually was his Finance minister. So one day, this Finance minister guy threw a huge party, the biggest in his time, in his château. Every noble person of France was present over there, including Louis XIV.

A few days later, this Finance minister was arrested for treason, and put to Versailles, where the poor guy died.

What was the finance minister's fault? He was just trying to be himself! But he outshined his master, le roi, in the process.

So, its good to not be urself at times. At times, u know.

Im not good when it comes to using computers and mobiles, nonetheless i try. But I spend my day studying, spending quality time with my family and friends, watchin good movies at times, and then ive got my hobbies. :D

I actually speak German when I communicate with my rents and my relatives. I actually don't have a social media, so cant comment on that.

U c, if u know German, itd probably be easy for u to comprehend English and its grammar. Both are Germanic languages of the same family and script, so i actually dont have a problem with English.

Hasta Luego!
