Let x be the voltage at the junction of 10v 20v and 1 ohm respectively.
Apply KCL at the junction.
(x-10)/2 + (x-0)/1 + (x-20)/4 = 0
(2x – 20 + 4x + x – 20 ) = 0
7x = 40
x = 40/7
I = (40/7 – 10)/2 => -30/14 = -15/7A
minus sign indicates that the current is flowing in the opposite direction of that assumed.
