MgCl2 formed by the transfer of electrons as Mg have its valency +2 and chlorine has its valency -1 so the product form is MgCl2.

solution of magnesium chloride conduct electricity because it has H+ ions in the solution as MgCl2 is dissolved in H2O to form solution of magnesium chloride.

In magnesium chloride  Mg has valency 2 and Cl has valency 1 so by transfering of electrons magnesium chloride =MgCl2
