Q. If the height of a cone is equal to diameter of its base, find the volume of the cone.

GIVEN :

h (height) of cone = d (diameter) of cone

r ( radius ) of base = d (diameter) /2

r = value which we get by dividing diameter by 2.

later

formula for volume of cone is 1/3 πr²h .

substitute the value given in the question in formula and you can find volume of cone .

given hight of cone (h) = diameter

base(d=2r

volume of cone is given by - 1/3Πr²h

= 1/3Πr²*2r

=2/3Πr³
