Given :- Diameter of wheel is 130 cm how many revolutions will it make to cover a distance of 80

kilometre. ?

Answer :-

we have,

→ Diameter of wheel = 130 cm.

so,

→ Radius of wheel = D/2 = 130/2 = 65 cm.

then,

→ Distance covered by wheel in one revolution = Circumference of wheel = 2πr = 2 * 3.14 * 65 = 408.2 cm.

therefore,

→ Number of revolutions to cover = 80km/ Circumference of wheel = 80 * 1000 m /408.2 = 80 * 1000 * 100 /408.2 ≈ 19599 revolutions (Ans.)
