i) By the time i came out of the theater my brother had left already.

ii) Rakesh had seen the film before, so he found it very boring.

iii) He didn't find the joke interesting because someone had told him earlier.

iv) when he reached the class, the teacher had already finished the lesson on tenses. (similar to (i) )

v) My mother had cooked the lunch when i reached home after school.
