It is a set of numbers which forms the coordinates of a pyramid and it's only limitation is that it depends on who forms the pyramid

For eg. Sphinx was built by King Tut.

What are pyramid numbers ?

Pyramid numbers are the numbers that determine the number of organisms present at each trophic level.

It is graphical representation.

A pyramid may be upright and inverted.

When upright the base trophic level has higher organisms .

When inverted the highest trophic level has higher organisms .

Limitations of pyramid numbers :

1. It is a problem to represent the species which belongs to many trophic levels .

2. Saprophytes are not represented .
