Q.Rotinbabu deposits money for each of his two daughters in such a way that when the ages of each of his daughters will be 18 years each of one will get Rs.1,20,000. The rate of simple interest per annum in the bank is 10% and the present ages of his daughters are 13 years, 8years respectively, let's detemine the money, he had deposited separately in the bank for his daughters.​

at 10% rate for (18-13)years =5years he get

(x+x.10/100.5)Rs

(x+x/2)Rs=3x/2Rs

3x/2=120000

x=120000×2/3

x=80000

he deposits Rs 80000 for his elder daughter

if he deposit s y Rs for his younger daughter then

(y+y.10/100.10)Rs=2yRs

2y=120000

y=60000

he deposit s Rs 60000 for his younger daughter
