$⟹40 - 48m + 80 = - 40m + 80$

$⟹40 + 80 - 48m = - 40m + 80$

$⟹120 - 48m = - 40m + 80$

$⟹120 - 80 = - 40m + 48m$

$⟹40 = 8m$

$⟹m = \frac{40}{8} = 5$

CHECK:-

$⟹40 - 16(3(5) - 5) = - 10(4(5) - 8)$

$⟹40 - 16(15 - 5) = - 10(20 - 8)$

$⟹40 - 16(10) = - 10(12)$

$⟹40 - 160 = - 120$
