\bf\underline{SolutiOn\:-}\\2x + y =  - 2........(i) \\ 3 \times  - y = 7 \\ \rightarrow \bf Adding \: equation \: (i) \: and \: equation \: (ii) \\  \therefore  \: 5x = 5\\ \therefore \: x  = \frac{5}{5}  \\ \therefore  \: x + 1 \\ \rightarrow \bf Put \: x \:  =  \: 1\:in \:  equation \: (i) \\ 2x + y =  - 2 \\ \therefore  \: 2 \times 1 + y =  - 2 \\ \therefore \:  2 + y =  - 2 \\ \therefore \:  y=  - 2 - 2 \\\therefore  \: y =  - 4 \\ \therefore \boxed{ (1, \:  - 4)}

\therefore (1, -4) is the solution of the given simultaneous equations.

SOLUTION:-

Given

▪︎ 2x+y=-2

▪︎ 3x-y=7

Explanation

▪︎ 2x+y=-2...............(1)

▪︎ 3x-y=7..................(2)

On adding eq 1 and 2

2x + y = -2

3x - y = 7

———————

5x = 5

x= 5/5

x= 1

Putting x=1 in eq 2

3x -y=7

3×1-y=7

3-y=7

-y=7-3

-y= 4

y= -4

so, x=1 and y= -4
