Q). Solve the following Examples (any 1).

1) What angle will be reflected ray make with the mirror if the angle of incidence is 40 degree?

2) If the angle between incident ray and reflected ray is 90°, what are the values of the angles of
incidence and angle of reflection?

Please solve this 2 numerical and explain also please
it is soooooooo urgent.

Answer:

1) 50 degrees

2) As ray of incidence makes a angle of 90 degree with the reflected ray ,angle of incidence=90/2 =45 degree.

Answer:

1) Angle of incidence=angle of reflection.

so, the angle of reflected ray would also be 40°.

2) Angle of incidence=<i

Angle of reflection=<r

by the first law of reflection, <i=<r

but their total is 90°.

So, <i=<r=45°.

Hope it helps:)
