Today I Celebrated my Birthday, with all my family & friends.
The main living room was decorated with shiny foil Happy Birthday Balloons, with White & Blue Ribbons, & down the center of the room was a large table cover in a white paper table cloth, sprinkled in glittery stars, the table was set out for 10 with a grand Round Birthday Cake in the center. It was magical & a complete surprise to me when I walked in.
After our dinner the table was cleared and moved to the side, I was told to sit down on the floor with my eyes closed and not peak. I could hear some of my friends giggling around me, which made me what to look but I promised my famliy i wouldnt.
I sat there with my eyes tightly shut for what seemed like forever, before something soft, but heavy was put on my lap. I was told to speak softly & promise not to scream or cry, beacuse I might scare him by my Big Sister, so at first I thought it might be a rabbit. I slowly opened my eyes, I found it very hard not to scream in Suprise as I saw the little brown puppy from the rescue center there on my lap, instead I just picked him up in my arms and hugged him close.
His name is Bruce & he is our new family Pet Dog, I know its not good to give pets as gifts to people, as sometimes people are not prepared , but we have been waiting for years to get another family dog. So this was the best birthday ever & we as a family will look after him & love him with all our hearts.
