Density of water(ρ)=1000kg/m³

Acceleration due to gravity(g)=10m/s²

Height of wooden cube immersed completely in water(h)=10cm=10/100=0.1m

So, volume of wooden cube  (V) =(0.1)³=0.001m³

To find the value of upthrust(U) of water on a wooden cube

Solution:

Upthrust=Density of water.Volume of wooden cube. Acceleration due to gravity

⇒ρ×V×g

⇒1000×0.001×10

⇒10N
