Water naturally has beneficial minerals including calcium, magnesium, sodium & potassium. The key to creating healthy water is by removing the contaminants while retaining the beneficial minerals. Higher amounts of minerals in drinking water lowers heart disease and cancer mortality rates.

Answer:

1. There should be no presence of pathogens.

2. All ion concentration should be optimum

3. They should not be polluted by any means.

4. They should be visibly clear and should be free of any foul odor

NOTE:- THE MINERAL CONTENT SHOULD BE OPTIMUM NOT HIGHER. THAT IS THE REASON WHY WE SHOULD NOT DRINK SEA WATER EVEN WHEN WE FEEL THIRSTY. IT CAUSES DEHYDRATION RATHER THAN HYDRATION DUE TO OSMOTIC PHENOMENON AND IT ALSO CAUSES ACUTE RENAL FAILURE. NO ONE HAS PROVES THAT DRINKING WATER WITH HIGHER MINERAL CONTENT PREVENT OR TREAT CANCER AND ALSO IT DOES NOT PREVENT HEART DISEASE IT JUST CAUSES HEART DISEASE ( HYPERTENSION) THATS WHY DOCTORS ADVICE HEART PATIENTS TO AVOID SALTY FOODS.
