Q. What is an acid rain ?

when SOx and NOX released , react with the moisture in clouds to form acids which flow from clouds as rain, such rain is called as acid rain

when oxides of non-metal like SO2... CO2 .. CO3.... SO3..etc.. dissolve in water it form acid like H2SO3 ..H2CO3..etc..when it comes in form of raid it is called as acid rain..
