Answer:

In the first case

A.P=6,10,14

d=10-6=4

n=20

a=6

S=n/2[2a+(n-1)d]

S=20/2[2*6+(20-1)4]

S =10[11+(19*4)]

S=10[11+76]

S=10*87

S= 870

In the second case

a =6

d=4

n=40

S=40/2{2*6+[40-1]4}

S = 20{11+[39*4]}

S=20{11+156}

S = 20*167

S = 3340

Difference = 3340/870=3.84
