124 is wrong because

64x2 = 128 not 124

4×1 = 4

4×2 = 8

4×4 = 16

4×8 = 32

4×16 = 64

4×32 = 128

In the above pattern,

4 is multiplied by a no. which is twice the previous multiplier.

Hence, 124 is wrong in the sequence.
