Explanation:

The story of Razia begins with the death of her father Iltutmish.there were 5 sons of Iltutmish but according to minhaj us shiraj Iltutmish had declared Raziya as his successor because once Iltutmish said my son's are unfit to rule.

After the death of sultan, Ruknuddin firoz sat on the throne with the help of conspiracy hatched by dowager queen shah turkan and some Turkish nobles.within a month Ruknuddin Firoz proved to be an incompetent ruler or disable administrator.this incompetency of RF created a situation of anarchy and chaos.A the same time muslim theologians and nobles developed a notion ie the accession of a woman to the throne was against Islamic tradition but Raziya is Raziya.

Under these circumstances,Razia entered into the scene and came out of the palace on a horse in Red Attire, addressed the people in jama masjid, It is said that through her forceful speech she hypnotized all.

Hereafter excited public attacked the royal palace and put shah turkan to death, sultan RF was thrown behind the bars and beheaded later.

After facing these odds Razia became the sultan of delhi.

Note:Raziya was the only women who sat on the throne of Delhi Sultanate and in the history of medieval india there was no other women who did so.
