Hi ,

Given polynomial Q(y)= 2y - 3 ,

is a linear polynomial in one

variable y .

So , it has only one zero .

To find zero ,

Let Q( y ) = 0

=> 2y - 3 = 0

=> 2y = 3

y = 3/2

Therefore ,

3/2 is zero of Q( y ).

Verification :

Substitute y = 3/2 in Q( y ), we get

Q( 3/2 ) = 2(3/2) - 3

= 3 - 3

= 0

I hope this helps you.
