Q . You cannot use a clinical thermometer to measure the temperature of a candle flame . Why ?

A clinical thermometer has a temperature range of only 35ºC to 42°C. we cannot use a thermometer to measure the temparature of a candle flame as the temparature of the candle flame is very high and so if got near the flame the bulb containing mercury may burst.
