Answer: Option (d)

X is hydrochloric acid

Y is hydrogen gas

Zinc granule displaces hydrogen from hydrochloric acid to form zinc sulphate

When a gas is ivolved and it burns with a pop sound then always keep in mind that the gas would be hydrogen

here after zinc displaced hydrogen, the hydrogen gas evolved
