Q1 A card at random from ordinary pack of 52 playing cards. What is the probability of:
1.diamond
2.king
3.7 of heart
4. face cards
Q2 A pair of die is thrown. Find the probability of the following:
1. sum is 10
2. doublet
3. sum is less than 12

no of diamonds=13

P(diamond) = 13 /52  = 1/4

no of kings = 4

P(king) = 4/52  = 1/13

7 of hearts = 1

P(7 of heart) = 1/52

face of cards = 12

P(face of cards ) = 12/52

sum is 10 = 3

P(sum is 10 ) = 3/36 = 1/13

doublet = 6

P(doublet) =6/36 = 1/6

sum less than 12 

its sum less than 12 so 12 wont be included so only( 6,6) will be neglected 

= 35

P(sum less than 12 ) =35/36
