Specular reflection, or regular reflection, is the mirror-like reflection of waves, such as light, from a surface.

This type of lens is thicker at the center and thinner at the edges. An optical lens is generally made up of two spherical surfaces. If those surfaces are bent outwards, the lens is called a biconvex lens or simply convex lens.

Light or visible light is electromagnetic radiation within the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that can be perceived by the human eye.

In optics, dispersion is the phenomenon in which the phase velocity of a wave depends on its frequency.

There are two laws of reflection : 1) Angle of incidence is always equal to angle of reflection , i.e., ∠i=∠r. 2) The incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal at the point of incidence, all lie in the same plane.
