1 general musharraf over threw the democratically elected government through military dictatorship .in august 2002 he established a legal framework order that amended the constitution of pakistan .according to this order president of pakistan got the power to dismiss the national and provincial assemblies .in 2002 he had put his government to referandum but according to the pakistani media it was based on mal practices and fraud .the final desision making power did not rest with the elected representatives hence it was resting with military officers and musharraf himself
