= It consists of 3 methods physical, biological and chemical cleaning 1 )first it passes through bar screens which removes rags ,plastic bags ,cans etc. from water.
2) it passes to sand and grit removal tank where speed of water slows down to rest the sand and gravel down.
2) it moves to a large tank with its sliperry and cone shaped bottom, there the solid faeces and waste rest down . this waste is known as sludge. it then cleared with a scraper. Now the water is passed to a water clarifer or a skimmer where floating impurities are cleared and the water is known as clarified water .
3) the sludge is passed to a biogas plant where biogas is produced to get electricity and energyby adding anaerobic bacterias this the biological cleaning. further dry sludge is used as manure in fields
4) the water is then allow to pass to aerators where gases are released to remain live the bacterias to clean the water .
5) the nature further clean it but sometimes it becomes necessary to mix chlorine tablets and oxone solution to water before allow it to pass to reservoirs. it is the chemical step of cleaning water.

Sandy soil is nayurally ocurring and developed from finely divided rocks and mineral particles it is defined by size ,finer than gravel and coaser than silt .
