Q1-if a car attains a speed of 36km/h from rest in 12 minutes time,what is the distance covered?
Solution :
           here u = 0 , v=36 km/hr  t= 12 min
     First convert velocity into m/s and time into seconds
       therefore ,
                   v= 36*(1000 / 60 *60 ) m/s
                     = 10 m/s
  Time = 12 min
         = 12 *60 seconds
         = 720 s
WE KNOW THAT
              v=u+ at
             10 = 0+a*720
           a = 10/720 m/s²
             = 1/72 m/s²

We know that ,
v² - u² = 2as
 => 10² - 0 ² = 2*(1/72 ) *s
 => 100 = s/36
=> s= 36*100
       = 3600 m
Therefore Distance Traveled = 3600 m
