A solution is a homogenous mixture that contains two or more substances. Solutions contain a solvent (the substance that dissolves) and a solute (the dissolved substance). Household solutions often appear in the form of substances dissolved into water, such as juice from concentrate.
Examples of household solutions would include the following:
- coffee or tea
- sweet tea or coffee (sugar added to solution)
- any juice
- saltwater
- bleach (sodium hypochlorite dissolved in water)
- dishwater (soap dissolved in water)
- carbonated beverages (carbon dioxide dissolved in water is what gives sodas their fizz)
- powdered drinks

The three solutions which we use at home are Water, Coffee or tea and juices.
Explanation:
- There are two major parts that will make the solution are solute and solvent.
- The solute is nothing but a substance that can dissolve in solution.
- The solvent is a substance that can dissolve into the solute which will produce the homogenous mixture.
- We can define the solubility of a mixture by solvent and solute that is presented in the solution.
- At certain temperatures, the maximum amount of solvent which can dissolve in the solute is called solubility.
