Hi there!

There are many methods to solve the quadratic equation:

  • Completing the square
  • Splitting the middle term
  • Quadratic formula

→ x²+7x+12=0

→x²+4x+3x+12=0

→x(x+4)+3(x+4)=0

→x+4=0 and x+3= 0

→x= -4 and x= -3

Both have negative sign, hence this quadratic equation have no solution.

Thankyou :)

From the given quadratic equation

X^2 + 7X + 12 = 0

X^2 + 4X +3X + 12 = 0

X ( X + 4 ) + 3 ( X + 4 ) =0

( X + 4 ) ( X + 3 ) = 0

therefore X + 4 = 0 and X + 3 = 0

X = - 4 and X = -3

X = - 4 and - 3
