Answer:

67.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know,

       Mean = ( sum of observations ) / ( number of observation )

In the first case : number of observations is 20 and mean is 65.

⇒ 65 = ( sum of score ) / 20

⇒ 65 x 20 = sum of score

⇒ 1300 = total score       ...( 1 )

When two students whose scores are 89 and 85 are added : number of observations = 20 + 2 = 22   &    sum of observations = 1300 + 89 + 85 = 1474

⇒ new mean = 1474 / 22

⇒  new mean = 67

Hence the new mean is 67 .

Aloha !

\text{ This is Twilight Astro ^_^}

The mean of 20 students is 65.

If two students are then mean Will be.....?

65×20= total mean

1300.

If two students are added.

Then,

=1300+85+89/22

=1474/22

=67

Required mean is 67
