Let one angle be x.

Supplement of x is (180° − x).

Given that angle x is one-third of its supplement.

Therefore x = (1/3) × (180° − x)

⇒ 3x = (180° − x)

⇒ 4x = 180°

∴ x = 180°/4

∴ x = 45

Q3) x+x+36=180

2x+36=180

2x=180-36

2x=144

x=72

x+36=108

108+72=180
