ANSWER:

option d is the true because

Weight is the product of mass and the acceleration due to gravity.

Weight = mass × acceleration due to gravity

We know that mass is the quantity of matter in a body, that do not change with change in space . In other words mass of any given body is constant everywhere.

Gravitational pull increases when we go nearer and nearer to the center of the earth. And it is maximum at the center of the earth.

Due to the fact that at the cente of the earth the given body is pulled equally towards the center from all the directions, making the body stationary, which means no acceleration, through the gravitational pull is maximum. So,

Weight= mass × acceleration due to gravity.

Weight= mass× 0 = 0

Let us understand it by an example. Let's assume that a hole is drilled through one side of the earth to another side of the earth passing through the center of the earth. Now, if some object is thrown into this hole, what will happen? Shall it come out from the other side?? Answer is No. Because, anything thrown in that hole from either side of the hole shall be pulled equally towards the center of the earth. And thus that object shall not come out on any side of the hole but it will get stable at the center. And there won't be any acceleration of that object.

Hope it is helpful.
