Q1 Why atmosphere is important?
1). It blocks Sun's dangerous rays.
(2) It traps heat, making earth a comfortable temperature

(3). The change in the atmosphere does not produce changes in the weather and climate

the answer should be 1 and 2 both......

because our atmosphere consists of different layers with distinct protective feature..which collectively act as a protective shield

ozone in the stratosphere plays an important role in trapping harmful sun Rays( UV rays).

presence of different refractive index layers in the atmosphere also cater to the property of trapping harmful Ray's...

these layers also help in making earth habitable by conserving right amount of moisture and heat......
