1) All The living organisms require food.
Food includes carbohydrates, Fats, Vitamins and minerals.
The nutrients enable living organism to build their bodier, to grow, to repair damaged parts of body and provide energy to carry out life processes.
2) The presence of starch in leaves is detected solution called iodine.
The leaves containing the starch will give dark blue- colour 2-4 drops of Iodine.
The leaves which lacks chlorophyll will not give any colour change when Iodine is added.
